The Office of the Chief Judge announced that four employees have tested positive for COVID-19.

Two employees work for the Adult Probation Department at the Criminal Court Administration Building. The third employee works for the Social Services Department at the Criminal Court Administration Building.

The fourth employee works at the Juvenile Temporary Detention Center (JTDC). The JTDC is conducting testing on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The new confirmed case brings the total number of positive cases to 61 staff and 45 residents since the pandemic began.

For any confirmed reports of COVID-19, human resources personnel contact any individuals identified as having had close contact with infected persons at the workplace and potentially been exposed to the virus. Deep cleaning of any affected areas is requested upon receipt of notice of a COVID-19 case in the workplace.

A total of 135 employees working under the auspices of the Office of the Chief Judge have tested positive for COVID-19, plus six judges. Please note that for all cases in which an individual tested positive twice, that individual is only counted once in totals.
