CEO to speak on food distribution issues

Beth Ford, president and CEO of Arden Hills, Minnesota-based Land O'Lakes, Inc., will speak on Thursday, May 23 at noon at a meeting of the Executives Club of Chicago.
The meeting will take place at the Standard Club, 320 S. Plymouth Ct.
Ford, who is lesbian, will address food distribution in the face of population growth and changes in agricultural practices.
According to a statement, Ford "will discuss disruption in the food industry, investments in AgTech, and research recently sponsored by the company to better understand consumer and producer mindsets."
Ford has previously held posts at Mobil, PepsiCo and Scholastic.
