Nikola Vucevic scored 16 for Chicago. DeMar DeRozan had a rough night after averaging 34.5 points in the first two games. He scored 13 before picking up two technical fouls and getting ejected with 4:30 left in the game.

The visiting Wildcats (1-6) fell to the University of Maryland Terrapins (6-2) 31-24, extending Northwestern's losing streak to six games.
Maryland's Roman Hemby ran for 179 yards and three touchdowns, including a 75-yard sprint with 3:22 remaining that gave the Terrapins the win.
Northwestern has yet to win a game in the United States this season. The season-opening victory against Nebraska took place in Dublin, Ireland.
