Claude Kelly's "Party in the USA" Co-Writer, Jessie J, Made Her U.S. TV Performance Debut March 12, 2011 on Saturday Night Live With His Song "Price Tag" Featuring B.o.B.

March 15, 2011 ( New York, NY ) - Fresh off the success of co-writing Bruno Mars' Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit "Grenade," along with his first GRAMMY® Award nomination ( Best R&B Song category for Fantasia's "Bittersweet" ) , hit-making songwriter Claude "Studio Beast" Kelly was tapped to write for Britney Spears' March 29, 2011 release. In addition to penning "Gasoline" for Spears' Femme Fatale, Claude Kelly has recently written three tracks for U.K. powerhouse Jessie J, including U.S. lead single "Price Tag" featuring B.o.B., "Nobody's Perfect" and "Abracadabra." Jessie J's debut album Who You Are hits U.S. stores April 12, 2011.

Staying loyal to the creative forces behind her "Circus" success for Femme Fatale, Britney Spears once again enlisted the help of Claude Kelly who not only provided her with "Shattered Glass" for the Circus album but also the title track ( "Circus" ) which led to the concept and theme for her album, the Circus world tour and the Circus perfume line. This time around, Claude Kelly has written the electro-infused dance track "Gasoline," which is produced by Dr. Luke and Benny Blanco.

Claude Kelly's golden pen continues to extend beyond the U.S. having consistently landed his songs at the top of the UK Singles Chart. His recent titles to hold the coveted #1 spot include Bruno Mars' "Grenade," Olly Murs' "Please Don't Let Me Go," and most recently, his current single for powerhouse pop star Jessie J, "Price Tag" featuring B.O.B; a song that helped land Jessie J her TV performance debut stateside on NBC's Saturday Night Live on March 12, 2011. Claude Kelly and Jessie J's history extends beyond their work on Who You Are; the two co-wrote Miley Cyrus' "Party In the USA," which was originally slated for Jessie J's debut effort but ended up being picked up by Miley Cyrus.

Further proving he can write for any genre, Claude Kelly recently wrote "Same Dumb Excuse ( Nothing to Lose ) " for pop rockers Forever the Sickest Kids' self-titled album. Additional artists who have recorded Claude Kelly's songs include Michael Jackson ( "Hold My Hand" feat. Akon ) , Kelly Clarkson ( "My Life Would Suck Without You" ) , Jason Derulo ( "In My Head" ) , Ke$ha ( "Take It Off" ) , Christina Aguilera ( "Express" and "Show Me How You Burlesque" for the feature film Burlesque ) , Whitney Houston, Jennifer Hudson, Leona Lewis, Adam Lambert, Flo Rida, Fefe Dobson, Lee DeWyze, T.I., David Archuleta, Chrisette Michele, Brandy, R. Kelly, Jesse McCartney, Backstreet Boys, New Kids on the Block, Charice, Melanie Fiona and Jordin Sparks, among others.

Stay tuned for future announcements about Claude Kelly's recent work, including tracks for U.K. X-Factor contestants One Direction and Rebecca Ferguson. For more information on Claude Kelly, please visit: www.claudekellyonline.com and http://www.simonesmallspr.net/clients/claudekelly/Bio.html
