Beyonce has been confirmed as the halftime performer in next year's Super Bowl, the Washington Post reported. CBS will air the game and show Feb. 3, 2013—and it's the same network that aired the 2004 halftime show with Janet Jackson and her infamous "wardrobe malfunction." The most recent Super Bowl show featured Madonna, who performed with Nicki Minaj and a middle finger-wielding M.I.A.

Glee fans still recovering from the big "Break-Up" episode (in which several couples split, including Kurt and Blaine) can cry their eyes out into some very expensive tissues and help organizations at the same time. According to the Huffington Post, series star Darren Criss (who plays Blaine) has started a charity auction. On Charitybuzz.com, fans can bid on tissue boxes signed by Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, Heather Morris and Naya Rivera, and Criss and Chris Colfer. Some of the proceeds will go to the Trevor Project and the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

Oprah Winfrey recently asked Jason Russell, the creator of Kony 2012, about his sexuality, among other topics, according to the Daily Mail. Russell, a married father of two, garnered attention in March after ranting outside in San Diego while running around naked. When Winfrey asked the charity founder if his sexuality had anything to do with his strange behavior, Russell replied that he is "theatrical."

On the 25th anniversary of the death of Andy Warhol, makeup artist Francois Nars has created a limited-edition cosmetic collection exclusive to Sephora stores (until Nov. 1) that features the late icon's work, the Daily Mail reported. Among the items are a Flowers eye-shadow palette; a lip-gloss collection (with items named Blue Movie, Myths, Chelsea Girls, Silver Factory and Drella); the Debbie Harry Eye and Cheek Palette; and a "Walk on the Wild Side" gift set.

Madonna has reportedly taped a full episode of Ellen Degeneres' talk show that will air Oct. 29, according to PerezHilton.com . Moreover, the musical icon was wearing her MDNA Tour Vogue outfit during the interview, and at some point interacts with Shaun Sperling (the gay Chicago attorney whose early '90s video of a Madonna-themed bar mitzvah went viral).

In Alabama, Birmingham's local ABC station reportedly pulled a story on Sam Champion's engagement from its website and Facebook page, the Huffington Post reported. Champion, the meteorologist for Good Morning America, announced his engagement to longtime boyfriend Rubem Robierb recently. In 1997, the same station allegedly did not air the episode of Ellen DeGeneres' sitcom, Ellen, where her character came out of the closet.

Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, reveals in the upcoming reality show The Houstons: On Their Own that she's engaged to "adopted brother" Nick Gordon, according to the New York Post. Rumors have run rampant ever since the 19-year-old was romantically linked to Gordon, 23, who was invited by Houston to live with her family when he was 12 (because his birth mother could not care for him).

Amy Locane-Bovenizer—who starred on the original Melrose Place TV series (as Amy Locane)—is on trial for aggravated manslaughter after allegedly killing a woman with her car after getting into an accident with someone else, the New York Post reported. Maureen Ruckelshaus testified that Locane-Bovenizer first hit her car before plowing into another car and killing Helene Seeman, 60, and seriously injuring her husband near Princeton, N.J., two years ago. Locane-Bovenizer could get up to 30 years in jail if convicted.

America's Next Top Model's Tyra Banks is making her foray into scripted series with Fivehead, a comedy for ABC based on her teen years, Deadline.com reported. Banks is co-creating/executive producing Fivehead with Kenya Barris, a childhood friend and longtime business partner with whom Banks also co-created "Model." As for the new show's title, Banks said, "In high school, if you have glasses, you're a 'four eyes,' if you have braces, you're a 'metal mouth' but if you had my forehead? You're a FIVEHEAD."

According to SheIsDiva.com, Shaun Thompson—known as "Shaun T" from his Insanity workout commercials—recently married longtime boyfriend Scott Blokker. Thompson, a former backup dancer for Mariah Carey, retweeted a post from Alex Coloreo that read, "The two most amazing people in the entire world; so happy for you both."

Out actor Matt Bomer (TV's White Collar) will be a guest star on NBC's The New Normal, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Bomer will extend his professional relationship with Glee's Ryan Murphy (who's also behind "Normal"); last season, Bomer played Cooper Anderson, the older brother to Darren Criss' Blaine. On The New Normal—which features a gay couple using a surrogate—Bomer will be the "sexy ex-boyfriend" to Andrew Rannells' character, Bryan.

Mitt Romney apparently has Lindsay Lohan's vote, according to an Advocate.com item. The Mean Girls star recently told E!, "I just think employment is really important right now. So, as of now, Mitt Romney—as of now." The Wrap's Tim Malloy added that "The Lindsay Lohan demographic has endured unemployment or underemployment throughout much of the Obama administration."

Cinematographer Harris Savides, who worked with some of Hollywood top directors, died recently at 55, according to The Wrap. Savides shot six films with out director Gus Van Sant, including Elephant and Milk, the movie about the late gay politician Harvey Milk for which Sean Penn received a Best Actor Oscar. Savides also did music videos for Madonna, R.E.M. and Chris Isaak, among others, winning MTV Awards in 1994 for R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts" and in 1995 for Madonna's "Rain."

NBC has released the line-up for the inaugural All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, according to The Wrap. The male competitors are Stephen Baldwin, Trace Adkins, Gary Busey, Penn Gillette, Lil Jon, Bret Michaels (who won the third season of Celebrity Apprentice), Dennis Rodman and Dee Snider; the women include Marilu Henner, LaToya Jackson, former "The Price Is Right"/"Deal or No Deal" model Claudia Jordan, "Apprentice" fan favorite Omarosa, actress Lisa Rinna and former Playboy Playmate Brande Roderick. The show will premiere next March.

Picketers have halted the taping of the NBC show Fashion Show, a reality-competition series that features Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos as judges, according to the New York Daily News. About 70 members of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees picketed the show Oct. 13 at Hollywood Center Studios, forcing producers to cancel a taping and dismiss a studio audience. The union allows members to work on the non-union "Fashion Star"; however, they get no pension and health benefits without a union contract.

Belle Pictures and The Mark Gordon Company have announced a film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Memphis at Warner Bros-based Alcon Entertainment, according to Deadline.com . Created by Joe DiPietro and David Bryan, Memphis is currently touring the United States through next summer. Memphis won the Tony for Best Musical in 2010, along with Best Book of a Musical, Best Score and Best Orchestration.

NBC is finalizing a deal for Wonderland, a drama set in the world of Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland that CSI creator Anthony Zuiker will executive-produce, Deadline.com noted. Wonderland is set years after the events in the book and centers on Alice and a new character, Clara. To revive her dreams and get her life back on track, Clara must wage war against Wonderland's reigning Queen—the woman viewers once knew as Alice.

Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, who is among the recipients of the 2012 National Arts Awards, received the Outstanding Contributions to the Arts Award Oct. 15 in Manhattan, according to Playbill.com . Singer Josh Groban was one of the other honorees, receiving the Bell Family Foundation Young Artist Award. Dancer/choreographer Mikhail Baryshnikov and Bebe Neuwirth were among the evening's presenters.

Architectural Digest Editor-in-Chief Margaret Russell hosted a dinner at ABC Kitchen for out designer and former talk-show host Nate Berkus, who's on the November cover, the New York Post reported. Berkus, who revamped his Greenwich Village apartment in three months, and told the magazine,"There are certain details I obsessed over ... but I'm not the guy walking around with a flashlight, checking to see if there are dings in the wood. I believe a home should be lived in."

NBC comedy stars Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Fey, the popular creator-star of 30 Rock and such films as Date Night and Mean Girls, has turned down hosting the Academy Awards in the past. She and Poehler, who stars on NBC's Parks and Recreation, are friends and former SNL cast-mates; they co-starred in the movie Baby Mama.

Even President Obama has weighed in on the Nicki Minaj-Mariah Carey feud taking place on American Idol, MTV.com reported. On the Miami-based radio program "The Yo Show," the show asked the chief executive about the beef. Obama responded, "I think that they are going to be able to sort it out; I am confident. ... I think both outstanding artists are going to be able to make sure that they're moving forward and not going backwards."

Mario Lopez and Khloe Kardashian Odom have officially signed on as hosts of Fox's singing competition The X Factor, according to The Wrap. Kardashian Odom began her career as a television star and has helped build the Kardashian family brand on E!, while Lopez has appeared in TV (including Saved by the Bell), film and Broadway; he currently hosts the entertainment news magazine show Extra. "The worst kept secret in Hollywood is out," said Simon Cowell. "Mario and Khloé are our hosts. They will debut on our first live show in November and I couldn't be happier."

The upcoming James Bond movie Skyfall is garnering some buzz for what's been described as an "erotically-charged scene" between Bond (played by Daniel Craig) and the villain Silva (Javier Bardem), the Huffington Post reported. Regarding Silva, Craig told Movieline, "Someone suggested that Silva may be gay. And I'm like, I think he'll f*** anything." Craig, who "loves the scene," added, "I don't see the world in sexual divisions."

Former RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Sharon Needles is starring in a new PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) ad that tells people that "eating shouldn't cost an arm and a leg," the Huffington Post noted. In the Halloween ad, Needles stands in a white gown dripping with blood, clutching a dismembered human leg and arm in his hands. The caption reads: "If gnawing on flesh turns your stomach, why not go veg?"

At the God's Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards, Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy invited Bette Midler to appear on the Fox series, according to the Huffington Post. This isn't the first time Murphy has invited celebrities to guest-star on Glee while at awards shows; at the 2011 Golden Globes, Murphy invited Anne Hathaway to guest star on the show. Midler has reportedly not given a firm answer to Murphy.

The Bravo show Watch What Happens Live had an awkward moment when former Real Housewives of New York City star Jill Zarin talked with show host Andy Cohen about her dismissal from the reality series, People.com reported. When she asked Cohen why she was let go, he said the show needed a fresh cast: "We were looking to shake the show up. The last reunion, I think you would agree, was incredibly toxic for everyone involved." After the show, Cohen tweeted, "I can't think of another instance of a fired employee confronting the network abt her dismissal. On camera. #MetaByBravo #WWHL."
