The Chicago Bears (5-10) rallied from a 24-14 fourth-quarter deficit in snowy Seattle to score a dramatic 25-24 victory over the Seahawks (5-10) at Lumen Field on Dec. 26, a press release noted.
Trailing 24-17, quarterback Nick Foles threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Jimmy Graham with 1:01 remaining and followed with a two-point conversion pass to Damiere Byrd, who made a one-handed catch to give the Bears their first lead of the game.
"The biggest thing for me and for our team in there is that the guys never stopped fighting," said coach Matt Nagy. "As a coach, you love that about them. It just speaks to who they are."
On Sunday, Jan. 2, at noon CT, the Bears will host their last home game of the season, playing the New York Giants.
In NBA action, the Chicago Bulls hit the 20-win mark (against 10 losses) with a 113-105 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Dec. 26 at the United Center.
Zach LaVine scored 32 pointsin his return from the NBA's health and safety protocolsand DeMar DeRozan added 24 as the Bulls notched their third consecutive victory.
Next, the Bulls will play the Atlanta Hawks twiceon Dec. 27 at Atlanta, and Dec. 29 at the United Center.
