The 10th-anniversary edition of EXPO Chicagoan international contemporary and modern art exhibitionwill take place at Navy Pier and throughout Chicago on April 13-16.
The fair's core programs include IN/SITU and IN/SITU Outside, distinct presentations of large-scale sculpture, video, film, and site-specific works installed in Festival Hall and across Chicago's public spaces; the /Dialogues panel series, presented in partnership with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, which will include Chance the Rapper, among others; OVERRIDE | A Billboard Project, which will feature digital billboards and information panels across Chicago's Central Business District through April 23; and much more.
Also in Navy Pier's Festival Hall, of course, will be an exhibition featuring 170 galleries representing 36 countries and 90 cities from around the world. Just a few of the countries represented include Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Japan, Switzerland, South Africa, Canada, Bahamas and the United States. Some Chicago galleries/organizations expected to exhibit include Volume Gallery, 6018North, the Museum Science and Industry, Carrie Secrist Gallery, Kavi Gupta, Rhona Hoffman Gallery, Weinberg/Newton Gallery, Bert Green Fine Art, Corbett vs. Dempsey, Human Rights Watch, M. LeBlanc and Aaron Galleries.
