||Annual LGBTQ+ networking event 'Out of the Office' to take place June 1

The annual LGBTQ+ networking event Out of the Office will take place Wed., June 1, 4:30-7 p.m., at The Godfrey Hotel Chicago's rooftop lounge, I|O, 127 W. Huron St., to kick off Pride Month.
The event will also help raise money for the Legacy Project's LGBTQ Curriculum Program for Illinois' public schools. Previous event beneficiaries have included TransWork, Affinity Chicago, Gay Games Chicago, Open Hand GroceryLand, the Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, Chicago House and many others.
The 20th annual event will be held in honor of the late Chicago broadcast legend Merri Dee, who was instrumental in the founding of the event 20 years ago and who attended nearly every year.
