"Logo Docs," Logo's critically-acclaimed documentary series that showcases the true and sometimes shocking tales of today's innovators, magic makers and underdogs, returns for a new season with the premiere of "Annie Leibovitz: Life Through a Lens" on March, 26 at 8/7c on Logo.
This new season of "Logo Docs" examines the iconic personalities and up-and-coming pop culture movements that are currently shaping the ever-growing and diverse community of gays, lesbians and their allies. The season premiere begins with a down-to-earth and honest portrayal of photographer Annie Leibovitz. Viewers will take a behind-the-scenes look of her life, her art and her relationship with Susan Sontag. Explore the ups and downs in both her career and personal life with interviews and footage of her work with celebrity subjects including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Whoopi Goldberg, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, George Clooney and Julia Roberts.
This season covers topics ranging from body-image issues to the world of dance to the business of Broadway. Watch how cultural pressure of the modern man attaining physical perfection in "The Adonis Factor" premiering April 2nd. The U.S. premiere of "Ballet High" portrays the blood, sweat, and drama of what it takes to be a teen in the competitive business of dance premiering April 9th. Go behind the runway and brand names for a look at the highs and lows of the male modeling industry in the U.S. premiere of "Pretty Boys"premiering April 16th. Get "gleeful" as three high schools compete to stage the most outrageous musical production in the documentary"Guys 'N Divas" premiering April 30th. Finally, follow the road to the Tony Awards® with "Show Business: The Road to Broadway"premiering May 7th. This documentary highlights juggernaut musicals including "Wicked" and "Avenue Q" with interviews by Kristen Chenoweth ( Glee, Pushing Daisies ) , Rosie O'Donnell and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tony Kushner.
