  TODAYS GAY & LESBIAN EVENTS

Friday March 31st

Black Transgender Nonprofit, "Life Is Work" Trans Visibility Pageant
6:00pm

As hundreds of laws are being passed around the country that ban trans people of all ages from sports, public spaces and deny them equal access to health care, housing and workplace opportunities, trans people and their allies are standing strong in loving solidarity. Five awards will be given to nonprofits and community members who are keeping Chicago BIPOC transgender people safe and expanding vital services. Around 20 contestants of all genders will compete for over $3200 in cash and prizes. The categories are Presentation, Question and Answer, Evening Wear and Talent. $20/$75
