Recently, Howard Brown Health released its annual report, "Building Towards Health Equity."

The report begins, "In 2021, Howard Brown Health not only rose to the occasion in our pandemic response, we laid the groundwork for the coming years. We began construction for our expanded presence in the city on the North and South Sides, launched new clinical programs, built out our clinical and support staff, and updated our mission and vision statements to guide our work into the future."

Among other things, the organization stated that 52,000 individuals in the Chicago area were fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at Howard Brown locations. Howard Brown also provided STI care, HIV screenings and services for the LGBTQ+ community.

There were 86,052 total clinic visits along with 34,655 total telehealth visits.

In addition, Howard Brown launched the FAMILY Pride campaign to celebrate the importance of chosen families on bus routes on Chicago's North, South and West sides; and Broadway Youth Center moved to a new, permanent location at 1023 W. Irving Park Rd., expanding much-needed services for LGBTQ+ youth.
