CHICAGO (January 25, 2022) — The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce (ACC) is pleased to present its annual Hygge Fest featuring a weekend of "Hygge-themed" promotions from participating Andersonville businesses from February 4 — 6, 2022.

The Danish concept of "hygge" (pronounced hue-gah) has been around for ages. It refers to the ritual of embracing life's simple pleasures. Feeling relaxed, cozy and surrounded by the warmth of family, friends, community and fire all encompass the idea of Hygge. The North Side Community Mask Drive mutual aid group will host a collection drive on Saturday, February 5 from 10 am — 2 pm outside Woman and Children First Bookstore (5233 N. Clark St.). The group is collecting child-sized respirator (N95, KN95 or KF94) and surgical masks, in addition to cleaning supplies to distribute to northside schools.
