"The Music Box of Horrors," sponsored by CreepyCo., will return to the Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Ave., from noon on Saturday, Oct. 23 through noon on Sunday, Oct. 24.

The event will include special guests, giveaways, vendors and, of course, plenty of scary movies.

Between the 12 movies included in "The Music Box of Horrors 2021 24-Hour Marathon" and the 38 titles in the companion event, "Music Box of Horrors: Dawn of the Drive-In," ( Website Link Here ;, there will be 50 horror films to Chicago in October under the Music Box of Horror banner.

Just a few of the titles that will be shown include Arachnophobia; Dr. Black, Mr. Hyde; The Faculty; the 1990 version of Night of the Living Dead; Phantasm II; and the Dario Argento film Tenebre.

Note: All 2021 Music Box of Horrors attendees entering the Music Box Theatre will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or have proof of a negative PCR test within the 72 hours prior to entering the theater. Proof will need to be shown at the door before entering.
