In remembrance of the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, members of the public will join area firefighters to climb the stairs of Soldier Field in honor of the 343 firefighters from the FDNY who gave their lives while trying to save others.

Each participant will pay tribute to a FDNY firefighter by climbing or walking the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. The registration fee is $50.

Every participant will receive a photo ID of one of the fallen heroes of Sept. 11. Onsite registration will begin at 8 a.m., with opening ceremonies beginning at 9 a.m. The climb will start at 9:30 a.m.
