The annual event Dining Out for Life will take place May 16-22 throughout Chicago and Evanston.

Participants dine in, order takeout/delivery or purchase gift cards from their favorite restaurants and donate directly to TPAN to support the organization's mission to serve people affected by HIV/AIDS.

TPAN is not asking restaurant partners for donations this year, so individual gifts are even more important.

Some of the dozens of participating restaurants include Smoke Daddy Wrigleyville, Crazy Bird Chicken, The Dearborn, Anteprima, Yoshi's Cafe, Wood, Some Like It Black, Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery, Le Sud, Francesca's Bryn Mawr, Farmhouse Evanston and Drew's on Halsted.
