The 33rd Annual Lambda Literary Awardswhich celebrates LGBTQ+ books and authorswill take place Tuesday, June 1, 6-8 p.m.
Typically held in person in New York City, this year's Lammys will be presented virtually for the first time ever.
Award presenters will include Katherine V. Forrest, R.O. Kwon, Carmen Maria Machado, Torrey Peters and John Paul Brammer, among others. The event will also feature a performance from musician Meshell Ndegeocello.
Just a few of the works up for awards are Spellbound: A Graphic Memoir, by Bishakh Somand; Fantasia for the Man in Blue, by Tommye Blount; Devil's Lake, by Sarah M. Sala; An Excess of Quiet: Selected Sketches by Gustavo Ojeda, 1979—1989, by Gabriel Ojeda-Sague and Erich Kessel Jr.; Wild Peach, by S*an D. Henry-Smith; and Black Sun, by Rebecca Roanhorse.
