The Chicago-based soccer club Edgewater Castle FC (ECFC) is holding a competition for Chicago musicians, artists and composers to write its new club anthem.

According to a press release, "The anthem will be sung by players and fans at our games and bring a sense of pride and unity to our club's community. The winner will be chosen by a selection jury composed of club staff, community owners, players, sponsors and fans."

The anthem contest is being presented in collaboration with Experimental Sound Studio. The prizes for the selected winner will include a cash prize of $250; a lifetime membership with ECFC; four hours of studio time at Experimental Sound Studio (ESS) (Chicago facilities only) with professional engineer to be used for recording, mixing or mastering (remote available); a one year-long ESS membership; and a professional audio recording of the anthem.
