Affinity seeks new executive director
2020-12-22

Affinity Community Services—a Black- and queer-led organization on Chicago's South Side dedicated to social justice in Black LGBTQ+ communities—is seeking a new executive director.

The executive director will provide visionary leadership for Affinity, ensuring that it is serving the community in a manner consistent with its mission. The executive director will report to the board of directors, and is responsible for the organization's consistent achievement of its strategic goals, financial objectives, and successful day-to-day operations.

For best consideration, applications should be received by Monday, Jan. 18, 2021. Each applicant should email a cover letter and resume in PDF format to hiring@affinity95.org with the subject line "Affinity Community Services - Executive Director Search." Cover letters will

be evaluated as a writing sample and should include the applicant's salary requirements.

Early this year, Imani Rupert-Gordon left the position to lead the National Center for Lesbian Rights. In July, Affinity Executive Director McKensie Mack stepped down after a month in the position.
