A brick was thrown through the front window of Chicago Ald. Raymond Lopez's Southwest Side office Nov. 19the fourth instance of vandalism targeting his properties this year (including three times in July), The Chicago Sun-Times reported.
A man tossed the object through the front window of an office in the 2700 block of West 47th Street, and three males were seen running from the scene, according to Chicago police.
Lopez posted a video of the crime being committed, captioning, "If you know who these criminals are, call my office. Your information [will] be kept confidential as we work with @ChicagoCAPS09 to hold them accountable. #EnoughIsEnough."
After the Nov. 19 incident, Lopez cast blame toward Mayor Lori Lightfoot and CPD Supt. David Brown, tweeting, "At what point will she & Brown realize their policies are fueling brazen acts like this?"
