Danny Beers is working to help LGBTQ seniors during the coronavirus pandemic.

Five days a week, Beers has been collecting donated food and essential supplies, and working with Andersonville establishments Vincent restaurant and Lady Gregory's to pick up and deliver hot meals.

Because his response was so fruitful, the Center on Addison has begun delivering the donated goods to other Chicago LGBTQ seniors in need—ones who do not reside at the Center. As a result, the supply is shrinking faster than before and Beers could use help. He is currently accepting all food and household supplies ( cleaning, hygienic, etc ) to keep up with the need.
