Gerber/Hart Library and Archives will host a virtual panel discussion involving The 10% Show on Thursday, April 30, at 7 p.m.

The 10% Show was a cable access Chicago-based LGBTQ monthly newsmagazine which ran 21 episodes between 1989 and 1991. The show covered the wide diversity of LGTBQ life in Chicago, including politics, entertainment and community organizations.

Lauren Herold—a Ph.D. candidate at Northwestern University whose research is focused on LGBTQ cable access shows—will interview Executive Director Jack Ryan, co-host/segment producer Sarah Seigel and segment producer Tom Rowan.

The interview will cover their involvement in and development of the show as well as the show's reception and impact. Episodes have been posted at gerberhart.org//the-10-show.
