In line with the policies for visitors to all University of Illinois campuses in response to developments related to COVID-19, Jane Addams Hull-House Museum, 800 S. Halsted St., will suspend all public activities through Wed., April 15.
The events will be rescheduled for a later date. They include:
Sunday, March 15, 12 p.m.: Brunch with the Breckinridges: Championing Women's Activism in Modern America
Thursday March 19, 6 p.m.: Teaching Social Justice: About Museums, Culture, and Justice to Explore in Your Classroom
Sunday March 29, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.: Ensemble-Made Chicago Masterclass Series
The museum will remain open and continue to offer free public tours at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays as well as Sundays. However, public tours will be limited to groups of 10. Any visitor who is feeling sick should refrain from visiting the museum and joining public tours.
