Chevrolet and GM Diversity Communications hosted an evening for local LGBT community members. Guests were treated to an evening of food, drink and vehicles, co-hosted by leading LGBT automotive journalists Aaron Bragman ( Cars.com ) and Steven Ewing ( Autoblog.com ).
The evening began hors d'oeuvres and open bar at a private exhibit in the Near West side that features the latest in-vehicle technology from Chevrolet. Bragman and Ewing provided a concise overview of what's new and interesting at the Chicago Auto Show, which ran through Feb. 17.
The duo's hilarious overview was in the form of an awards show. Some of the awards included the Toyota FT-1 receiving the Dustin Lance Black Best Twink Magnet Award, the Corvette Z06 getting the Khal Drogo Most Butch Award and the new Ford Mustang being honored with the Madonna Fresh Face on an Old Chassis Award.
The guests were then bused to McCormick Place for a guided tour with the co-hosts of the auto show floor; they then returned to the exhibit for more drinks and desserts.
