Now that spring has officially arrived, I feel renewed in many ways. I'm not sure about how you men feel about good vibrations, but we women can't get enough of them. I especially like hearing about the free ones. After a trip to Gameworks for my birthday last month, and happily enjoying one of the rides way too much, I got to thinking about some of the free vibrations out there. So, Strap This On for a Happy Spring:
The Top Ten Ways to Enjoy Those Good Vibrations
10 ) A motorcycle ride. You're straddling something, usually holding on to someone in front of you, the wind is blowing in your hair, and going fast.
9 ) Dryer/spin cycle on the washer. Generally, the older the model, the better the ride. Our new washer and dryer in the house are nothing like the ones that could walk at our old apartment. I loved that place.
8 ) Race car games. We went to Gameworks for my birthday and found out that the new race car games with the built-in speakers give off quite a vibe. The ladies and I rode them all night.
7 ) Cell phone. Turn that cell phone to vibrate and have that special someone call you and hang up for a few minutes before it goes to voicemail. Thank you, Robin.
6 ) Barstool. Let me qualify that. It needs to be the barstool at a very loud, smaller-venue concert right next to the speaker and the bass is up way too high.
5 ) Horseback riding. I do seem to always get the horse that likes to run towards the only tree in a wide open field, but when they gallop, I'm grateful.
4 ) Mr. Potato Head. Someone gave us this vibrating Mr. Potato Head. I happened to have it in my lap the first time I turned it on. Nice nose.
3 ) My truck. I've had this S-10 for well over fourteen years now. She just doesn't want to go. She's been very loyal even though her shocks are going. That extra bounce is what endears me even more to her.
2 ) Detachable shower head. I appreciate those long showers even more considering there are not two but four choices for the force of the water.
1 ) Construction lane. Going over those grooves in the road at a construction site at the maximum speed allowed is simply lovely.
