Pubert: What did you do before you got into porn and what inspired you to get involved with the biz?

Jake: I've always loved porn. I consider it a completely legit form of entertainment. You can't tell me that Spiderman 3 is more entertaining than any video with Julian ( straight pornstar and one of my favorites ) in it.

P: What has been the most surprising thing about porn that you didn't expect?

J: That the business end of it looks like any other entertainment business. The mechanics of success as a porn star are very much the same as Hollywood. Of course the competition is much lower so success is easier, but you put yourself out there on enough magazines and posters, and the images are memorable in some way, and you too can be famous.

P: Do you have any limits?

J: I think you put any man in the right situation with the right person or people and they will go a lot farther than they ever thought they would. I'm into all kinds of sex now that I would have considered beyond my limits a few years ago. I'm the kind of guy that likes to adjust to the water slowly, but I can swim for a long time and go pretty far out from the shore without even thinking about it.

P: What do you think of Chicago and IML?

J: I fucking love Chicago. If it didn't get so damned cold I'd easily consider it a possible home one day. I've got some very long-term friends there, one in particular that I'm really looking forward to spending more time with. The men are so damned easy going and I love Andersonville.

P: Any crazy leather moments you want to mention?

J: I can't imagine I'd have any story that would shock this crowd, but I once knew this guy that used to like to get his balls tortured until they were the size of grapefruits, which isn't so crazy, ( I've actually really gotten into CBT as a top ) , but then we would stick huge objects ( like 20 pounds of chain link ) up his ass and he would go out into the building elevator and he'd shit all of it out into a paper bag while I videotaped it. Good Times!

P: Tell me about your recent awards.

J: I've been named Raging Stallion Man of the year and NakedSword Man of the Year.

P: What is your website and what is next for you?

J: My website is at JAKEDECKARD.COM It's just now becoming something I like. I've just started selling my dirty jocks finally. I like getting them really filthy by the way; it turns me on there is some pig out there beating off to my stink while they watch my porn--its like smell-o-vision!. I'll be adding live webcam shows and a blog soon. I've been doing live shows, which have got to be the most fun part of the job ( I just had a few in Chicago last month that were a blast ) . I was just hired into full-time production work at Raging Stallion last week, my directoral debut is with JD Slater in 'Roid Rage' and I'm hoping there will be a Jake Deckard video line within the next year.

P: Sounds great, thanks for hanging with Nightspots Magazine and I hope this is the best IML ever for you!
