Take a trip... with Dik. Yes, our cover boy Dik, bartender extraordinaire from @mosphere, will be holding an opening reception for his photography show entitled '13th Step' at Cocktail, Monday, May 8 from 7 'til 9. Featured on the cover is a little piece he likes to call 'You Are Craving Salty Nuts.' Talk to him and it will all make sense.
Christopher made me promise not to take his picture, but when we ran into his friend Genatta [ apologies for possible fucked-up spelling ] at Star Gaze, he was all tongues. And tongues were a-waggin' at Transmission, the twice monthly trans dance party. We both ran into women with whom we had gone to school. Needless to say, both women were now men. What a glorious time to be alive...
8.6 million thanks to graysong for stepping in at Touché for the annual Leather Eye For the Preppy Guy makeover show. Check out the Spread to see the lucky recipient of $500 worth of leather goods ( and services ) from Caliber Leathers.
You'll notice the above thanks to graysong. Well there's a concrete reason. It's also the reason there are so few pix in this week's issue ( Jackhammer, I'm calling you out ) . Imagine having to deal with a weekly deadline week after week after week. Imagine never, ever missing said deadline. Then imagine, in the span of one week, having the most stressful day ever in the office, having all of your fish die and then, in a grand gesture of the universe shitting on your head, getting dumped and spending two days in bed crying. I ask you, dear readers, for a temporary pass. I promise we'll be back to normal by next week. But, please, under the circumstances we'll all have to take what we can get.
Thanks for understanding.
