Having already done the whole emotional outpouring thing, suffice it to say that Clark's on Clark closed not with a whimper but with a bang ( don't look at me, I went home alone that night ) . It was so last-minute, you kinda just had to be there.

So it appears a challenger has stepped forward to my reign of terror on the WordBuilder board at SoFo. Bring it on, ROBGOD!

Happy birthday to Foozie! See her at Cocktail on Tuesday, Circuit on Wednesday, Cesar's on Thursday and Spin on Friday. What kind of heartless cretin doesn't love a good Foozie quickie? Thanks cover girl, we love you lots.

Congrats to Reed, winner of the much-coveted leather makeover at Touché's Leather Eye For the Preppy Guy. I was fortunate enough to again judge and p hotograph the whole affair. Whenever I'm running behind in my naked ass quota, Touché is sure to fill it ( don't look at me, I went home alone that night as well ) . See pages 18-19 for a great step-by-step photo spread.

Welcome Lee and Shaun to the semi-finals for Windy City Gay Idol 2007. Both did a stunning job at Jackhammer. Which queen threw a shit-fit after not placing that night? I won't tell, but I'm surprised I was not violently blinded by a flying fake titty!

And now to explain exactly why I have a picture of the cover of Chicago Free Press in my column.

First of all, for those of you small-minded enough to think that I am about to launch into some verbal invective raining hatred upon CFP, as my friend Markus used to say, 'Do better.' I have full respect for CFP and applaud their editorial decision to feature this particular cover story.

I ran across this copy of CFP at a certain local bar. I will not divulge the exact location, but it's important to note that it was a gay establishment. As you may or may not be able to see, some ink-wielding individual saw fit to scribble a rebuttal or two to the idea that homosexuality may be genetic. One graffito reads, 'Bullshit. Being gay is a choice!!!!' Also, the sub-headline 'Baptist leader suggests manipulating genes to make sure babies aren't born gay' has been changed to read 'Baptist leader suggests manipulating genes to make sure babies ARE born HEALTHY.' No rocket science degree is needed to glean from this last comment that the scribe believes being born gay is NOT healthy.

It's no big deal to me that homophobes are homophobic; there will always be ignorant minds to change and my main concern is putting gas in the tank and loving my friends and family. It just boils my blood, though, that someone would come into a gay establishment, enjoy our culture, our beauty and our good vibes and then spew all this hateful shit.

That being said, I'm glad we live in a nation that supports free exchange of ideas. So if you are the one who wrote this, send me an email and let's get this party started.
