YWCA Metropolitan Chicago is currently accepting nominations for its 35th annual Leader Luncheon Awards. Leader Luncheon, the YWCA's largest annual fundraiser, recognizes five outstanding women in the Chicago community. The event honors women for their exceptional professional and community achievements.
Nominations are accepted in the areas of business, communications and professions ( which includes medicine, law, education, science, engineering, nonprofit leadership, architecture or other fields that require professional accreditation ) . The organization is also seeking nominations for the Promise Award ( given to a woman aged 18-29 ) and the Racial Justice Award.
Visit www.leaderluncheon.ywca.org to download nomination forms. The deadline is Monday, March 12.
Winners will receive their awards at the YWCA Leader Luncheon held on Thursday, Oct. 18.
