Having a little fun with Google
For the Pride Edition of WWWeird we decided to try Googling the Seven Deadly Sins + 'Gay'—in other words, Gay Anger, Gay Lust, etc. At first we tried just hitting the I Feel Lucky Button, but the same website kept popping up, so we had to burrow down into the search results to find things that were a wee bit more interesting. It was a bit of work. Ultimately we didn't find something interesting for every sin ( although, we did learn you can get a fabulous blowjob at a club called Envy in Brighton, UK ) .
'Gay Anger' led us to a subterranean cinema site about Kenneth Anger ( who is certainly about the gayest Anger you're likely to find. )
Since fundies can't stop talking about us, it's not surprising that a huge number of the hits are columns on neocon websites. However, you gotta love that the 'I Feel Lucky' hit for 'Gay Lust' takes us right to an Alan Keyes website—and no, the column doesn't have anything to do with Maya.
'Gay Greed' led us to this image in a gallery of gay 3D art. After backing up into the parent gallery and viewing the other images it contains, we've decided that the phrase 'gay 3D art' may never, ever be uttered in our presence—unless the speaker immediately breaks into laughter.
Wondering where in the hell the Gay Gluttony and Gay Envy sites are? We went through 11,800 Google hits without finding anything remotely interesting ( and that was just for Gluttony. ) It just goes to show we can't do it alone. Got a site for the World Wide Weird?
