Woman Made Gallery will honor its Co-Founder and Executive Director, Beate Minkovski who has guided the organization and its programs since 1992. Through 2011 more than 7000 women have shown their work in 312 exhibitions.
The Gala, WMG's major annual fundraiser, features both a live and silent auction offering a large variety of fine arts and crafts items as well as gift certificates and services. In addition to a Cash Raffle with three prizes, there will also be a wine bar and delicious appetizers by "Amazing Edibles" and live music by The Jazzifiers.
The auction will feature paintings, photographs, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, and much more, including artwork by Janet Bloch, Pamela Callahan, Sarah Chapman, Diane Cooper, Deb Flagel, Joan Friedberger, Andrea Harris, Sarah Hauser, Beate Minkovski, Linda Hillman, Carmen M. Perez, Julie Pitzen, Marah Rohovit, Sharon Swidler, Lari Washburn, Kathleen Waterloo, and Marcia Winograd.
Admission tickets are $65 prepaid or $75 at the door with all proceeds benefiting WMG and its programs.
