This year's Wizard World Comic Con Chicago will take place Thursday-Sunday, Aug. 22-25, at Rosemont's Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, 5555 N. River Rd.and it has just gotten some serious star power.
It was announced Aug. 17 at John Travolta will make his Wizard World debut at this event when he appears Saturday, Aug. 24. The star of the films Pulp Fiction, Grease, Get Shorty, Look Who's Talking, Saturday Night Fever and the TV series Welcome Back, Kotter star will greet fans, sign autographs, pose for photo ops and conduct an interactive Q&A panel during the 22nd annual event.
Some of the other slated guests include Zachary Levi (Shazam; Chuck), Ben McKenzie (Gotham; Batman: Year One), Morena Baccarin (Gotham; Deadpool; Firefly), Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park; Independence Day), Henry Winkler (Happy Days; Barry), Matt Ryan (Constantine; DC's Legends of Tomorrow), Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina, The Teenage Witch) and David Giuntoli (Grimm). There will also be dozens of illustrators and vendors present.
The appearance of Jason Momoa (Aquaman; Game of Thrones) has been canceled.
Autograph fees may be required for some guests.
