Should old acquaintance be forgot and never blah blah blah. Like the sound of that? Well tough shit, Francine. You sure will be hearing a lot of it this weekend. Try not to start the new year heaving your insides into a porcelain bowl.
So if you're looking through this week's issue and you say to yourself, "Kirk's losing it. He's put all these pictures in before", then you're a fucking smart-ass. Also, you may not already know that this issue is "'04 The Love Of God." This is my brief look back at the best and the brightest of 2004. Remember that party with the donkeys and the fireworks? Well you'll get to revisit that night and many many others in this wrap-up issue. It's all the rage, this yearly recap shit.
So, to all those we here at Nightspots have touched this year, thanks for the ride. You are too numerous to mention. All who read this should know that you have contributed in a major way to the most absurd year of my life. Whether you threatened to cut my throat ( really happened! ) or just bought me a drink ( didn't happen enough ) , you helped me write this column.
And now in the spirit of recap, here's a snippet from my most popular column this year. See you in the '05.
Pure evil thy name is Jäger. Pure evil thy name is Jäger. Pure evil thy name is Jäger. Pure evil thy name is Jäger. Pure evil thy name is Jäger.
