Play ball! Hot cover, eh? That's Todd (aka 'Ice Man') from the new Crew. You'll find him working the door. And don't get rowdy or he may have to tear off his shirt and wrestle you to the ground, pinning you helpless and panting under the unrelenting grip of his muscled arms. Oh, yeah and the food's great, too.
I got the rare chance to be an honorary Naked Boy Singing on Sunday. I strolled into Joey's Brickhouse and there they were, the buff boys of Bailiwick celebrating their third year of nudity. When they went up to do a Creaoke song (hi, Rev. Kenny!) they exclaimed, 'All fags get up here!', and I couldn't resist. Nobody got naked, regrettably. I think I did make out with a certain pig bottom porn star for a while there, but I'm not divulging any names.
Also at the Brickhouse, I hung with this table of the coolest straight kids in the world. Thanks, y'all for taking me into your table and your hearts. A special hello to young Larry, who had just broken up with his girlfriend. If I may be so bold, Larry, in the parlance of our times—ditch the bitch and make the switch. I'm sure you could pull it off.
Got a call from Julie out in Ottawa. She runs this great little place called Zeller Inn. They went gay for their Monday nights and it went so well she's gonna go gay all the way. Check out the bar listings by the map for address and phone. Check out page 21 for a few tempting snapshots. Anyone with a good car wanna gimme a ride out there. I'm dying to see the place for myself!
So graysong's been rode hard and put away slightly moist this week. How he survived the ILGRA Fahootched bar crawl will remain one of those great mysteries. Once he actually found his camera, he stopped in and we had a gay old time plowing through the pix. Now you, too, can 'crawl along with graysong'. Just turn to our new and improved 3 page center spread and follow the boot prints from Charlie's to Touché to Jackhammer to T's to Crew and back again to Charlie's. Notice how his pix get a little more 'artsy' as the crawl progresses. Don't miss the bus pix at the bottom of the page as well. When a drag queen holds your head back and pours Puckers down your throat, you damn well better drink!
Sometimes you meet a real gem. Raul struck up a conversation with me at Madrigal's and he turned out to be a very level-headed, focused individual. Really interesting cat, too. He works in the movie biz. If you see him out, ask him about star sightings. Good talking to you, Raul!
