Ride 'em cowboy/cowgirl/
cow-American! Windy City Rodeo is gallopin' into town this weekend. Get ready for the rootinest, tootinest weekend this side of the ol' Mason-Dixon. The calendar on page 13 will give you the lowdown on the rodeo schedule. Don't forget to meet up at Charlie's at 7 on Thursday for the Fahootched! bar crawl. From there, it's off to such exotic localities as The Edge, Touché, Crew, Jackhammer and Hunter's.More info, log on to www.ilgra.com, Tex!
They said Crew was a sports bar. I thought, oh sure. A couple of jock straps hanging from the ceiling won't make it a sports bar. I was shit wrong. What a job they've done with the place. From the wings to the way hot dudes from corner to corner, Crew has taken the oft-separated worlds of 'sports bar' and 'fag bar' and made one delicious salad out of 'em. I'm going bcak for another bite tonight. Stay tuned for next week's Crew-themed cover!
Had a good talk with Russina at Hydrate about the state of the community. You're right honey—people need to get together to get what they want. Then I went and drooled over the hot guys. It can't all be cerebral.
I guess I was abit manic last night when I rolled into Clark's on Clark and, for some reason, was singing about anal sex at the top of my lungs. It was there I took the aborted cover on page 46. I really should be chained to a radiator some nights.
Johnny Dangerous—remixed. He's back with all new mixes. See the ad on page 44 for more. A big thanks to Mr. Dangerous for the touching shout-out to yours truly in the jacket of his newest CD. That's him pumpin' the mic at Jackhammer, where he performed with Houston Bernard, bipornoelectropunk rapper from NYC.
Our friend Suzi took the prize at the final calendar girl search at Star Gaze. All the hot broads turned out, thanks to Sam and her art. That was her on last week's cover.
I'm tired. That's it. Here's some music—Tralalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
