So it seems a certain F.O.N. (friend of Nightspots) has finally landed himself a girlfriend. With his busy schedule, we thought it would never happen. But he's worked his magic. Had I not been sworn to secrecy, I'd give you more.
Juan at Madrigal's was anxious to have me photograph his new dancer, on loan from Canada or Toronto or Siberia or something like that. No cold nights where this one is from, I could tell you that. Look elsewhere in this issue for a big ol' shot of him.
Too bad I usually go 'commando' (apologies to those who are not fans of T.M.I.), because the Lights Out underwear party at Hideaway was, how do you say, in full swing. Look above for glimpse of porn star Shane Glacier, who was jerking the suds for one night only. Write me if you've ever seen any of his videos. Believe it or not, I'm curious to see this little guy in action.
While there, I did run into a certain Dusty Diva and former Windy City Gay Idol finalist who told me he has just finished recording his next CD. Stop into the Hideaway and you just may hear a preview.
Many thanks to Gino at Cocktail for my long-awaited Long Island Iced Tea, which, as you may know is the most potent Long Island you're bound to fall into. Poor Gino couldn't make it out the entire week he was on the cover. Don't worry, honey, you're always a star. Talked to Mike at the door (my old job!) about some potential cover ideas, E-mail me, Mike! That's the only way these things ever get done.
Somehow, possibly under the influence of a certain truck driver and his masculine wiles, I ended up at the Eagle late Saturday night, which I probably would not have remembered, had it not been for Florence, my trusty camera. That Florence sure gets me into a lot of trouble. Over there is Jim, whom you may remember froma certain outdoor sex themed cover of Nightspots some months back. Always a pleasure to see Jim at work. Stop into the Eagle and see Jim. He does not disappoint.
So Creaoke has acquired a batch of new songs, eh? A whole crop of new Prince numbers for me to wrap my mouth around, no doubt. Sorry, world, you ain't ready for what I can do to a Prince song.
A happy 5th anniversary to the lovely and talented Bobby Love's, by the way. Looks like we made it, huh Bobby?
I'm not a circuit queen by any means. But, as a photographer, what a ball I had at Fireball this year. Check out The Spread for all the eye candy you can handle!
