OK, now deep breaths. Relax. It's hard to come back down to Earth and remember exactly what it is I've been up to this past week. Luckily for my drunk ass, I carry a camera to record it all (and trust me, a lot of it, you will NEVER see—gotta have something for myself.)
Near as I can remember, I
start ed out at The Nutbush. Once I took off my funky red cap, the
doorman noticed me and let me in with a smile (although he never lets me take his picture.) Everyone was there, including a certain female illusionist and her webmaster boyfriend (stop shaving that chest, honey!!!) We discussed a future cover ala Gone With the Wind. Apparently there's a house in Indiana that will be perfect. Always a great time at Nutbush. Hi, Mikie!
Clark's on Clark was host to the usual parade of hotties. A certain young truck driver with amazing blue eyes and bone around his neck (not mine unfortunately) posed for a picture with my friend Gabriel. That's them right underneath. Look elsewhere in this issue for the guy in the kilt, who was one of 3 whom I ran into that night.
Speaking of kilts, a quick bit of love to Mistress de la Croix, who has left the Nightspots family to pursue her true dream. Look for her selling Street Wise in front of your favorite L stop. Seriously, we'll all miss her and wish her the bestest!!!
Monday at Madrigals is, as everyone knows, Creaoke night. My pipes were a bit warm, so I decided to put 'em to good use on Creagh. Cover girl April, sultry as ever was there in force. Joining her was her little bro Eric, who was celebrating ... get this ... this 21st birthday. How friggin' sweet is that? No sweeter than the kid himself. By the way, Sean, nice job on that U2 number!
Once I got to Jackhammer, I
realized I had been followed. Apparently, a certain fellow really wanted his picture taken. And boy, did I take it! Tune in next week for all the gory (and whore-y) details about the Stella's show.
The next night I stopped into Bobby Love's for a moment, which turned into 3 hours. Has a way of sucking you in, that place. Got some great shots of Dan. Keep pouring them drinks, you sexy goat boy, you!
On my last leg, I made it to Big Chicks. Full of characters! Like the smoldering Armenian fellow in the white sweater. Made some good friends up at Big Chicks. And who doesn't love Michelle.
Well, off to bed. More next week (Lord willing.)
