Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana has unveiled its list of upcoming performers for the next several months.
Out lesbian comedian/actress Wanda Sykes will be at the venue during Pride Monthon Friday, June 17. Sykesone of the co-hosts of the upcoming Academy Awards (with Regina Hall and Amy Schumer)became known for her wit as a writer on The Chris Rock Show, for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1999. In addition, she has acted in everything from the movie Monster-in-Law (with Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez) to TV series such as Q-Force, The New Adventures of Old Christine and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Also performing that at that venue on the same evening is country-music singer Jo Dee Messina ("Lesson in Leavin'").
Some of Hard Rock's other acts include R&B singers Ashanti ("Foolish") and Mya ("Lady Marmalade," "Movin' On"), on Friday, April 15; country-music superstar Clint Black ("Loving Blind," "Killin' Time"), on Friday, March 18; cover bands The Breakfast Club as well as Brooklyn Britches and The Whispers, on Saturday, March 19; country singer and eight-time Grammy nominee Brandy Clark, on Friday, June 24; Ivy Ford, throughout April and May; country-music singer Matt Stell, on Friday, April 1; and blues/soul musician Ronnie Baker Brooks, On Saturday, June 25.
