Candace Parker had 23 points, 12 rebounds and six assists to lead the Chicago Sky to a 92-72 win over the New York Liberty on June 22, The Chicago Tribune reported.
It was the sixth consecutive win for the Sky, matching the franchise record set in 2012 and equaled in 2013.
A press release noted that James Wade continued his pursuit of becoming the Sky's second-winningest coach of all-time, as he picked up his 40th victory as head coach. He is now just two wins from tying Steven Key for the second-most in franchise history (42).
Parker moved past WNBA Hall of Famer Tamika Catchings with her third defensive rebound of the night which put her career total to 2,400.
