Center on Halsted and Brave Space Alliance will hold the annual WERQ! LGBTQ Job Fair on Friday, Sept. 18, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Center
Last year, more than 60 major corporations, small businesses, government agencies and nonprofits participated.
Currently, planning for WERQ! is proceeding as an in-person event. Organizers are closely following city and state health department guidelines and will take actions based on their responses. There will be a contingency plan to take the event virtual if necessary, and will notify attendees accordingly.
This event which is free and open to the public, is an opportunity for the community to come together and explore career opportunities with business, agencies and organizations that are inclusive and safe for the LGBTQ community.
