Ride for AIDS Chicago (RFAC) is a two-day, 200-mile bicycling event produced by TPAN (Test Positive Aware Network.) This year is on track to surpass 2012's record breaking fundraising total of $640,000. RFAC is TPAN's largest single fundraiser of the year, raising critical unrestricted funds for HIV programs and services at TPAN and its community partners. RFAC's mission is to be a catalyst for change in the HIV/AIDS community by raising vital funds for those living with or at risk for HIV while simultaneously fighting the shame and stigma associated with HIV.
Volunteers are needed on Saturday and Sunday, July 13-14, 2013. Volunteers are still needed to assist the Riders and Crew members with various tasks during the two day challenge. Anyone interested in helping can go to 39893.thankyou4caring.org/pages/rfacvolunteer to sign up.
All are invited to the Ride for AIDS Chicago Closing Ceremonies on Sunday, July 14th at 4:00 p.m. at the Evanston Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Avenue, in Evanston. Join the hundreds of friends and family who will welcome home the riders and crew members from their 200-mile challenge on Sunday. Rider processional and program begins at 4:30PM.
