CDPH is looking for volunteers to join the 2012 Chicago Area HIV Integrated Services Council ( CAHISC ) The Chicago Area HIV Services Planning Council and the Chicago HIV Prevention Planning Group ( HPPG ) will soon integrate their planning processes to create a new planning group called the Chicago Area HIV Integrated Services Council ( CAHISC ) . By consolidating the groups, CAHISC will serve as a way to improve and streamline our HIV community planning efforts. This group is critical to the Chicago Department of Public Health's ( CDPH ) HIV Division to provide the necessary guidance and public input for prevention, care, and housing services for people at-risk, or living with HIV infection.
Right now, CDPH is looking for interested volunteers to join this group.
We are seeking HIV providers, consumers, or experienced planners who are passionate about making funding decisions and being a voice for the HIV community in the City of Chicago and surrounding suburbs. To submit your application, please download, complete and send the 2012 CAHISC Membership application. Applications are due by February 22, 2012.
