Mary Lambert at NU April 26
Grammy nominee Mary Lambertpossibly best known for singing with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis on the song "Same Love"will discuss the art of songwriting ( along with a special performance ).
The free event will take place Tuesday, April 26, 7-8:30 p.m., on the Evanston campus of Northwestern University at Lutkin Hall, 700 University Pl. Jim DeRogatis and Greg Kot will be the moderators.

MoCP exhibition through April 10
The Museum of Contemporary Photography ( MoCP ), 600 S. Michigan Ave., has announced free public programming related to the "MoCP at 40" exhibition, running through April 10.
All of the works on view will come from the museum's permanent collection of more than 14,000 objects. The exhibition will feature noteworthy collection works by more than 200 artists, including Diane Arbus, Roy DeCarava, Walker Evans, Sally Mann and Andy Warhol.

'The Danish Girl' out on platforms
The Danish Girlwhich stars Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne and Academy Award nominee Alicia Vikanderis on Digital HD, Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand.
The plot is as follows: In the 1920s, a strong and loving marriage evolves as Gerda Wegener ( Vikander ) supports Lili Elbe ( Redmayne ) during the latter's journey as a transgender woman.
A bonus feature is "The Making of The Danish Girl," as Redmayne, Vikander, director Tom Hooper and others on the filmmaking team discuss some of the creative processes used for the film.
