Trikone-Chicago, the not for profit organization serving LGBT South Asians in the midwest, held its first fundraiser on April 20, 2013 at Hilton-Asmus Gallery.
Funds raised at the event will help Trikone-Chicago meet expenses related to Chicago Pride Parade 2013. Ms Subhalakshmi Kumar, classical South Asian dancer and Lee Na-Moo, fusion belly dancer performed at the event. Arica Hilton, co-owner of Hilton-Asmus Gallery, introduced Ani Afshar's acclaimed landscape tapestry that is exhibited at the gallery. National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance was the fiscal sponsor of the event.
