U.S. Congressman Mike Quigley ( D-Illinois ) is hosting a panel discussing the transgender/HIV-positive military ban Monday, Dec. 2, at the Pritzker Military Museum & Library, 104 S. Michigan Ave., 1:30-3 p.m.
In addition to Quigley, panelists are slated to include Lambda Legal HIV Project Coordinator Scott Schoettes; Lambda Legal Staff Attorney Kara Ingelhart; HIV+ servicemember Sgt. Nick Harrison; and trans servicemember and Lambda Legal Senior Attorney Sasha Buchert.
Center on Halsted Director of Gender Equity and Inclusion Vanessa Sheridan will moderate the panel.
