The Chicago Therapy Collective is at is again, building platforms for Trans and QTPOC* artists to share their voices, sounds, movements, and truths and bringing you a phenomenal lineup of creatives. Get excited, Chicago! Join us Sunday, March 31, 6-9 p.m, for a special celebration at the Chicago Magic Lounge in honor of Trans Day of Visibility 2019 ( the most REAL, BEAUTIFUL, and NECESSARY holiday of the year! ) and the official launch of Trans-Inclusive Chicago!

Enjoy an evening of music, drag, comedy, burlesque, spoken word, and powerful speeches in keeping with the theme of our current exhibit at Andersonville Galleria, Trans Art Is: Love & Liberation. Our TDOV 2019 Celebration will feature hosts Karari Olvera and Najee Chatman; speakers Myles Brady Davis ( Equality Illinois ), Alexis Martinez ( CTC's #HireTransNOW Lead; Transformative Justice Law Project and Chicago Dyke March Core Organizer ), Jackie Boyd ( CTC's Lead Trainer; Founder of The Care Plan ) and Iggy Ladden ( Founder of Chicago Therapy Collective ); with performances by Crocodile Lightening ( Burlesque ), Switch The Boi Wonder ( Draglesque ), Darling Shear ( Dance ), CJ Run ( Rap ), NAXO ( DJ ), Chrisette Gisélle Klima ( R&B ), T Munoz ( Spoken Word ), Red ( Hip Hop ), KJ Whitehead ( Comedy ), Chloe Martens ( Playwright ), Mz Mr ( Burlesque ), Alex & Effee ( Poetry ) and Kal Jazeera ( Comedy ). Since November 2018 Chicago Therapy Collective has showcased and sponsored over 50 Trans and QTPOC artists and engaged over 500 community members in our Trans Art Is visibility project. By joining our TDOV 2019 Celebration you will be supporting the amazing talent of our Trans Art Is local, national, and international artists; honoring art's vital role in healing and social transformation; and helping to fund Trans-Inclusive Chicago!

Chicago Therapy Collective's Trans-Inclusive Chicago! Campaign is made up of 5 initiatives: Trans Art Is, #HireTransNOW, Get Trained, Get Feedback, and our Pilot Trans-Inclusive Andersonville! work. All initiatives are supported, led, and challenged by the Chicago Therapy Collective Community Advisory Board to ensure Trans-Inclusive Chicago! is a campaign made for and by the Trans and QTPOC community members it is intended to celebrate and support.
