Matthew: I think this year will be the busiest Market Days in a very long time, between the Neverland, Revolution and Alegria events. Tell the kids out there what you have planned with your three events?
Anthony: On Friday we're throwing a Neverland party, "The Plastics Ball." It's our celebration of Barbie & Ken dolls, Nip/Tuck, and all things plastic surgery. On Sunday we have a yacht party in the early evening that's going to take 350 people out onto the lake for some awesome music and incredible views of the Chicago skyline. After Alegria, for those who want to keep dancing, we're throwing a party called "Keep It Cute" at Lacuna Loft Studios, a private event space where we held our art exhibit last month.
MH: It has been a pretty exciting first year for you and Neverland. What has been your favorite experience so far with your parties?
AD: Expanding my horizons and meeting new people. Lots of new, wonderful people have come into my life, and we've built a little family around Neverland.
MH: Chicago club life can be very challenging at times. After a year of being in the thick of it, what do you find to be your greatest challenges in getting an audience?
AD: Neverland has hopped around a bit, and it's been a challenge not being in Boystown. At the same time, I like introducing our audience to different venues. This Market Days there are five big dance parties at five different venues! It's a testament to all that this city has to offer.
