Casey Johnson, the daughter of New York Jets owner Woody Johnson and an heiress to the Johnson & Johnson empire, was found dead Jan. 4 in her Los Angeles home, according to the New York Daily News.
The woman who found Casey is recorded as saying, “She’s ice cold and her hands are turning blue. I have two other people with me and we all think she’s dead,” according to Celebrity-Gossip.net.
Johnson, 30, was engaged to reality-TV star Tila Tequila. Reportedly, Johnson upset her parents by giving Tequila a 17-carat engagement ring in an Internet video; both were just wearing underwear. Tequila was not invited to Casey’s funeral, which took place in New Jersey.
Tequila (real name: Tila Nguyen) has been in a war of words with Casey’s friends, who accuse the reality star of using the victim for attention.
The cause of Casey’s death is still being investigated. The Daily News reported that Casey had diabetes and a history of substance abuse.
