Do not adjust your TV sets. What you are seeing is in fact a black and white transmission. It's a new decade and it was time for a little refreshing. So we got the Massengil, followed the directions on the box and somehow wound up with a black and white magazine. Smells like a dewy meadow, if you ask me.
Please enjoy some of our new features, including music columnist Marc "Moose" Moder's "Dancing About Architecture," cartoonist Adam Guerino's "Braces," Peter Pointers, Professor Know-It-All and our fresh photo layouts. Nobody does it like Nightspots. Exactly what "it" is is yet to be determined. But, if Clinton couldn't clarify it, don't look at me.
Got an itch for jocks? No, I mean the actual athletes and not the sweaty supporters. Anyhow, I had an itch to scratch, so I moseyed on down to Spin to catch the kickoff event for the 2011 NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series, coming to Chicago in '11. Those sporty types ain't too butch to don a dress ( or a be-mirrored unitard ) and shake it for their athletic supporters ( sweat nothwithstanding ) .
They sure were happy to see me at Scot's, after I flubbed the whole New Year's Day pajama party and all. Sorry, guys. You would not have wanted to see the zombie that passed for me on that day. Please enjoy the included shots of your typical Friday night mayhem. I'm all yours for Super Bowl on Feb. 7.
And to all our fine Andersonville bars: I PROMISE the next issue will be chock full of your faces!!!
