Congratulations to the staff of Hideaway in Forest Park on a spanking turnabout drag show. For the month of November, Hideaway is raising funds each day for TPAN. And the way these bitches were pulling tips, TPAN is quite the beneficiary.
More so because of the $1,000 donation that the staff themselves put up. That's birthday girl Tom Howe holding aloft the very check.
Get your sweet tooth on for charity at World Of Chocolate, taking place Thursday, Dec. 3 at Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan Ave. This year, AIDS Foundation of Chicago gives the community this top-notch event featuring live entertainment, an open bar, a light buffet, and the first annual Chocolate Bliss Recipe Challenge where guests submit their original recipes for judging by culinary artisans and chocolatiers throughout Chicago.
In general, I don't do the high-class affairs. I'm more of dirty martini in a darkened bar kinda guy. But you'd better bet I'll be in my best finery taking pics at this one. Better find a tux with an expandable waistband...
