Phil DaBeatz and Bill Pritchard at @mosphere, Jason P. Freeman at Mary's Attic; With old friend Karen Hawkins at Sofo___________
First of all, to the girl who told me, completely out of the blue last week, that my column lately has been really bad: I'm not sure why you're being so vindictive, but it was a bitchy thing to say and it hurt my feelings.
And it doesn't matter if you didn't like that.
On to business.
Gay Idol 2008 has begun, and to great success, I might add. Marla and Andre will represent Star Gaze quite well. Jill needs to keep trying, but the breakout of dance she inspired during her rendition of 'Since You've Been Gone' warmed the cockles of my heart.
Meanwhile, the show at Jackhammer warmed the heartles of my cock. In particular Matt. Sweet Matt. You were singing right to my pussy. I'd love to give that ball scratcher a whirl. That's not all I'll give it ( nyuk, nyuk ) .
What's better than the chance to win Altar Boyz tickets at Bingo Maryoke at Mary's Attic? The chance to meet two of the Altar Boyz themselves! That's just what I got when I stopped in last weekend. Gorgeousness, thy name is that one dude from the Altar Boyz. OK, so that's not a name, but you dig my angle. Stop in this Sunday to win the last pair of tickets. You may meet an Altar Boy. Or a priest. These days, it's anybody's guess.
Happy 6th anniversary to
@mosphere. Charlie and the boys were in rare form. And what a joy it was ( and always is ) to run into none other than Chicago Pride's Bill Pritchard. We got to talking about belts and I had to show him my pussy. See his blog to find out what all this pussy talk is about.
Still waiting for the pictures of everybody dancing shirtless on the bar at Sofo. I know they're out there.
Happy anniversary, also, to Circuit, celebrating 11 years this Saturday with Honey West and the boys of Sinzation. It'll be a honey of a show.
The freaks from TRAN: The Atari Musical took over Berlin and joysticks were being grabbed all over. I'm still grabbing mine a little. Grab your as you see the pictures in the Spread of the migrating wig. Cut them out and make a flip book, if you're feeling industrious, that is.
And to round it out nicely, thanks to David, who sent me a very nice email this morning about how much he loves my column. Oh David, if only they could all be like you...
